Wabi Sabi 006

A champagne-colored brilliant-cut 0.85 carat Oregon Sunstone, mined by the artist and installed to a very unique botryoidal mineral on crystal-bearing volcanic stone collected along a fault scarp in the Klamath basin.

Oregon Sunstone is a precious Feldspar colored by elemental copper, often containing shiny crystals of that warm metal of good luck and good health.

Botryoidal minerals are deposited by water carrying minerals through stone. This magical process creates a soothing pattern that reflects the power of possibility, seeing the un-seen, and making solid what appeared inconsequential.

The gemstone in this piece is ORIGIN CERTIFIED.
